PRICES & PAYMENT TERMS
All prices are in AED (United Arab Emirates Dirham) unless stated otherwise. Prices and specifications subject to change without notice. Payment in advance of shipping/collection is required. www.thebeans.ae will NOT deal or provide any services or products to any of OFAC sanctions countries in compliance with the law of UAE. We accept payments online using Visa and MasterCard credit/debit card in AED. If “Credit Card Online” is selected as the payment methods then the details on the Customers ID (Card holders ID) should exactly match that of the credit card used to make the purchase. In case of any disputes the law applicable would be based on the UAE Governing Law.
VAT (Value Added Tax)
As per new Government Law of United Arab Emirates, Value Added Tax (VAT) is payable at the rate of 5% as of 1st January 2018. From that date, VAT will apply to the majority of transactions of goods and services supplied in the UAE by any person/business required to be registered for VAT.
UAE DELIVERIES
Dubai Orders received before 3pm will usually be delivered the next working day, Abu Dhabi and Northern Emirates will be delivered within 2-5 working days. Orders received after 3pm will be dispatched the following working day. Delivery times for orders outside the UAE vary.
EXPORT ORDERS
If you wish to order from outside the UAE and your country isn’t shown in the shipping prices, please contact us via email (hello@thebeans.ae) for shipping quotes. Please provide details of your order. Payment in advance of shipping is required on all export orders. Payment may be made by wire transfer or credit card. All prices are exclusive of any applicable local charges and taxes which may apply and are the responsibility of the customer.
SHIPMENTS
The Beans ships internationally. We offer both courier delivery (charged at actual) and customer collection from our warehouse in Al Quoz 1, Dubai (free). Please get in touch with us and we will get a shipping quotation for you.
CUSTOMER COLLECTION
If the customer selects ‘Customer Collection’ at the checkout they will be notified once the order is ready for collection and full details of the warehouse’s location will be provided. Orders will be held for 7 days. After this time, if the order has not yet been collected the order may be cancelled and the stock returned to our inventory.
ORDER CHANGE / CANCELLATION / RETURNS
Coffee: Once dispatched no cancelations/returns or refunds will be processed.
Non-Coffee: Orders cancelled up until the point of dispatch will be refunded in full minus any payment charges incurred (such as credit card charges). Once the goods have been dispatched the customer will incur the cost of shipping/return of goods. This will be deducted from the order total and the balance refunded, minus any other charges incurred (such as credit card charges)*.
Non-Coffee Returns: Once items have been delivered we offer exchange or full refund (minus charges incurred such as credit card charges) on orders within 7 days of receiving your items. All refund requests must be submitted to orders@thebeans.ae and refund request approved prior to arranging delivery of the goods back to The Beans warehouse. Products must be in their original condition, un-used and un-washed, including the original packaging*. Shipping charges are non-refundable and the customer is responsible for the cost of any returns.
International orders: All international orders are final and we do not offer any cancelations/returns or refunds.
* Customized products and made-to-order items are non-refundable and non-cancelable.
Please note that all refunds against any purchase through this website will be refunded to the original mode of payment unless the customer requests us to hold the amount as a credit in their account for future purchases.
FREIGHT DAMAGE
If a product is received in a damaged condition, unpacking should cease, and the customer should request immediate inspection from the carrier responsible for delivery. It is important to retain all packaging until inspection is complete. A copy of the carriers written damage report is to be forwarded to The Beans.
PRIVACY POLICY
This policy covers how we use your personal information. We take your privacy seriously and will take all measures to protect your personal information. Any personal information received will only be used to fulfill your order. We will not sell or redistribute your information to anyone. The Beans Policies and Terms & Conditions may be changed or updated occasionally to meet the requirements and standards. Therefore customers’ are encouraged to frequently visit these sections in order to be updated about the changes on the website. Modifications will be effective on the day they are posted. All credit/debit cards’ details and personally identifiable information will NOT be stored, sold, shared, rented or leased to any third parties. Information obtained at our site is encrypted to ensure your security. Its uses industry-standard, SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) technology to ensure that your information is encrypted.
SECURE ONLINE PAYMENTS
All online payment services are provided by Stripe and Postpay. Note that all financial transactions are processed by Stripe and Postpay. and that The Beans does not obtain any sensitive data such as credit card numbers from its customers. After confirming an order on the The Beans web site, a customer will be use embedded form of payment gateways to complete a secure online payment.
